Yes, pretty sure it's Loropetalum (needs protection in a cold winter).

Glorious plant; have got mine growing in a pot and its flowered on and off throughout the summer. Yes, it does need winter protection so its going into my greenhouse with a bit of added fleece as I'm in a frost pocket. I believe there is a green-leaved variety with white flowers but yet to see one.

Oh thank you Jimmy & Sheila...im not sure if it had flowers or new little leaves...a very vivid pink....both my plants have been out all last winter...thank goodness they survived....Greenhouse this time....thanks again...:>)
