Can i split the hosta and Michialmas Daisys now, they look very shabby thanks.

Your Michaelmas daisies can be split when they have finished flowering. You can cut back all the flower stems that have finished but I don't cut mine right to the ground until the spring. Split the hostas when the foliage has died back,which it probably has by now.
