I like the purple celosia, but I have had 3 large ones and 6 small different coloured ones, and all have died whilst outside.
I have bought another, this morning, but I was thinking shoud I just keep it inside and put it in a well lit windowsill instead?
The label does say indoor/outdoor plant.
Thanks in advance

If well fed and deadheaded, they will bloom again, but the ones you see in the flower shop never look the same again. I consider them the same as a bouquet of cut flowers--enjoy for a couple of weeks, then toss.

Celosia's are generally annual plants (live one year only) so in future I would never buy a plant unless you need to fill a spot in an emergency. They go over very quickly after their flowers fade. I think they are a complete con myself. Grow them from seed in future which is quite easy.
