Are there any Florist out there,?
not sure if this question can be asked;
I am fighting the campaign with many other flower growers that the home grown flowers are the best, we are trying to encourage more Florist to buy locally grown flowers, although they are very seasonal, say from March to October, some old favourite's as in Cottage Garden flowers right through to the new trend flowers.
the florist are able to buy from the home grower as little or as bigger order as they wish from buckets full to a couple of stems. these flowers will be gathered when they are at there best, fresher incredibly scented no preservative's. grown not flown thousands of miles.
thank you

I'm not a florist but also prefer to buy local flowers. Some I've had from supermarkets smell like musty old warehouses which is presumably where they've been kept. I don't buy them any more.

I echo Seaburngirl, keep up the good work.

Years ago, I used to work for a florist, I used to go to a local Chrysanthemum Growers & cut the blooms I wanted, I loved taking all the blooms back to the florist in the Estate Car I drove, they were all laid out in the back, it sure was a sight for sore eyes :o)).
A little Tip for you, if your Xanth starts to shatter (Loosing some flower petals) Light a candle & let the hot wax drip in the space to stop it loosing anymore petals :o)) xx
