Aquilegia 'munstead white'. I ordered some garden ready plants which I planted out a while ago. My question is will they flower this year? The have put little growth on and all my other aquilegia are flowering? Have kept them well watered during dry spell so uncertain what to expect. Many thanks.

Ok, thanks. As long as I know I will leave them alone and hope they flower next year!

They should be producing masses of foliage now, if not much height, though. If not, I would be checking the soil moisture and fertility, though I understand that it has been a bit coolish in the UK, recently, followed by a drought.

I nearly did the same, until I read that Aquilegia don't usually flower in their first year . . . sorry :(
