We have a outdoor Yucca plant that flowers every year. This year it has produced two inflorescence stalks which are both about to bloom. Is this rare?

Spectacular plants, these plants are doing really well this year, don't know if there is a reason. I have a large clump which has 15 flower stalks preparing to come out! I expect yours has two as the clump is getting bigger, if you peep underneath you may find it now has more than one plant and is spreading.

Thanks for your replies. Honeysuckle was right. I inspected the plant and there are now two heads coming out of the clump. Thought it was having twins.

From my experience no, but up until now it was rare for yours. Enjoy!
