I am trying to find the name of a flowering plant which has popped up in a deep container growing tall poppies.
This plant has a single stem about 12 - 18 inches, one or two grass like leaves growing from the base. The petals on the plant at first resembled the individual flower heads on a lupin but only covering about 1 or 2 inches at the end of the stalk in a cluster. Flowering for about 3 weeks and gradually each individual flower head opened in sunlight showing about 5 petals, creamy white with a purple centre. I am at a loss to find out what it is. The plant has a white root or corm similar to a bluebell root. Can you help please as I would like to keep this plant and look after it for next year.

Five petals or six, Delphi? Five would be most unusual for grass-like leaves.
