Sorry yet again to mention this but painintheass cousin insists it's chamomile.
Please ignore this statement if you're even half as fed up with her as I am.

If the gardener says it is chamomile, then it is chamomile.

Oh poor you, Hank - some of it might be camomile, or a variety of anyway, but the flowers are different on the photos she's sent you, and one of them is probably Tanacetum (feverfew). Maybe you should just agree its all camomile, keeps the peace, doesn't it, and it doesn't matter much because she doesn't want any of it anyway.

If she's sure its chamomile why does she keep asking you?
You can settle feverfew v. chamomile by tasting a little bit of leaf. Both harmless and the feverfew is startlingly strong. Really strong...

Thanks Sue, at least you're not fed up with me and my perishing cousin's problems. Will definitely tell her to do the tasting test right away and will report back

not just taste but smell of the foliage. feverfew is quite astringent.
But at the end of the day let her believe what she wants. I know of some gentlemen who are adamant in their mis-identification [ a brother not any on here :o)]

Chamomile tastes too, but Feverfew is pretty startling...very spit-outable...

« Is there an idiot proof way to take cuttings from a buddleia?
Just tell her the only way she'll get more questions answered is if she joins GoY herself so we can talk to her direct... This is plain silly!
