we have two Chinese tree peonies that have been in a south facing border for at least eight to nine years without ever blooming. One is a yellow flowered variety and the other is red.
Can anyone help please.

I had one in my last garden and was advised to make sure the graft at the bottom was at least 8 cm under the soil.

welcome to GoY

several questions for you now
Have you fed it recently? is it in a more ericaceous soil rather than a limey/chalky one? Do you prune it and if so when?

We have a neighbour on the same estate who is also having the same problem. The shrubs were taken from cuttings and they are in a soil of 6/7 PH.
