I planted my rubber plant in the garden for the summer months my questions is will it over winter in the garden if well protected with fleece cover and a temporary greenhouse

Needs to be indoors in UK :o)) If the cold doesn't get it the frosts definitely will LOL.

Unlikely - Ficus elastica does not appreciate varying temperature ranges, it likes a steady range of 15-24 deg C - its a tropical tree, so even with fleece (not sure what you mean by a 'temporary greenhouse') without heat, it will be damaged or killed. A heated greenhouse kept at around 19 deg C will work.
