I had it growing against a fence in my last house, it grows quickly quite high but has long sharp thorns which is why I grew it for security, it is very colourful.

I have just one of these bordering the front garden with neighbours. We usually prune it back after the red berries have been devoured by the blackbirds and starlings, which doesn't take long :))

« my regent grape vine is now producing red fruit do I still feed it?
Yes. It is evergreen has lovely flowers in spring and berries in autumn. It grows quickly and will require pruning at least once per year. It is very prickly so acts as a good security barrier but you'll need tough gloves when you prune it.
