It depends on where it is growing. Indoors, it usually needs a good soaking once a month or so, maybe less often if the humidity is high. In greenhouses, about once a month in winter, and about once every two weeks in the summer. If the winters on Jersey are mild enough to grow them (no lower than -4 C), then the rainfall is likely to be too much for it unless it is in extremely fast-draining soil.
