I have several strawberry plants which fruited and have put out runners from which I have made babies. There are a lot of leaves some of which are turning brown . Can I cut off all the old leaves? Also I have a Stephanotis which has got quite large. Can I cut it back and is this the right time of year to do it if I can? Also a similar question with a Bay tree which is getting large but I want to keep it smallish. Will it hurt it to cut back some branches? Thanks,P.Chamberlin

the old leaves on the strawbs can be removed at any time.
I wouldn't prune the bay until spring. though taking the odd stem off and drying the leaves wont be a problem.
as for the houseplant I'd wait until spring unless some one advises differently.
