Can I overwinter a (summer) bedding dahlia in a cool but frost free place? It's still flowering in this mild weather. Thanks :)

yes you can but it will still die back and there will be a small tuber in the pot. Let it dry out and then keep frost free. I often put mine in a bucket of sawdust to keep them frost free.

Hi, as Sbg says, you can overwinter them exactly the same as their larger relatives, but the bedding types are more cost effective grown from seed each year, Derek.

Thank you both. You have cheered me up knowing that I will be able to enjoy it again next year!
