Top soil improver. I have just had a cubic metre of top soil delivered which I want to scatter onto my borders. However not everything has died back yet in this mild weather so do I wait until I have been able to cut back perennials to create some bare soil or just go for it now? Many thanks.

as long as you don't smother the crowns of the plants you can spread the soil between them.
