I've been asked what to feed a potted agapanthus with. I've used a sprinkling of blood fish and bone but is anything else recommended?

Every spring I scrape the top inch of compost off the top of my agapanthus pots and then sprinkle slow release fertiliser pellets and cover with fresh compost.

I agree with Bathgate. In my experience, Agapanthus bloom better with a little extra potash, as in liquid kelp.

Blood, fish & bone is very good. I also like liquid kelp fertilizer. It has everything a plant could need & environmentally safe.
