Why do the buds on my Hibiscus bush (grown in a very large pot) turn yellow and drop off before flowering?

I have heard also that hibiscus don't like to be moved as they twist their heads towards the sun and drop off, but the yellowing does sound like lack of water. Welcome to GOY.
