How best to dig up rogue tulips amongst sea of daffodils? Now they have finished flowering I keep on forgetting to remove bright red tulips and replant in flowerbeds. Have put a marker there now. What is the best way to do it, and when is best time to do it? Thank you.

I'd be tempted to do it now using a long thin trowel so as not to disturb the daffs. Or use a fork and replant any daffs that lift at the same time. water them back in .
