I am seeking the name of a plant/bush that is growing close to where I live. It's a climbing bush over a wall and it has small pink flowers. I thought it might be a Cotoneaster but I can't find one with pink flowers but it that sort of plant/bush. I'm sorry I don't have a photo.

There is a Ceanothus with pink flowers. It's called Marie Simon. I had one in my old garden. It is an upright bush though. I don't think it would climb over a wall.

I'm pretty sure Cotoneaster horizontalis can have pinkish flowers. Does the plant have very small leaves and the small branchlets sticking out at a wide angle from the main stem?

Aubrietia?

If it’s not a climber and just a largish shrub spilling over the wall then it could be the beauty bush kolkwitzia, however this shrub has nearly finished its flowering now or could it be one of the weigelias.

Escallonia? Clematis Montana? Too hard for us to ID without a bit more info . . . shape of leaves, any scent? etc.
