Every year I take Penstemon cuttings, they are so easy to propagate. However, although my cutting grow into lovely healthy plants they do not flower. I have one year old and two year old cuttings (still in pots) of several varieties but they just have not flowered. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I think it just need patience. Try putting the two year old one in the ground this autumn. When its clumped up and matured it should flower. I seem to remember mine took a few years to start flowering.
