Can someone tell me what’s going on with this marigold?

I’m not sure what kind. It’s in the ground. There is some webs on them.

If its a Tagetes variety (and I think it probably is) spider mites love them where you are - they can usually be found underneath the leaves, but you might need a magnifying glass to see them. If there's webbing, its likely those - they suck the sap out of the leaves, causing this type of unsightly damage. Its a bit late now to try to deal with them - neem oil might deter them, but the leaves which are damaged will not get any better. Info in the link below

What kind of marigold is it supposed to be? Tagetes? Calendula? Its hard to tell from the image, but maybe its a Tagetes of some description. Is it in a pot or the ground? Anything odd under the leaves?
