My friend had trouble with her Cordyline at the beginning of the year and I advised her to cut it back to hard wood. It has grown forty young plants from the top and the foot of the plant and she wants to know what now? Should she remove the lower plants and if so when?
This is a success story!!!

She can remove the lower plants if she wants, but if she wants to grow them on, she'll need a good piece of root with each one.

Thanks Bamboo. I think she thought it would look odd with so many young plants and she thought it would be difficult for the plant to successfully rear so many young!!!

She can always trim off any she thinks are extra to requirements in the spring next year, specially at the top.
