Wilting Forsythia

I planted a forsythia a couple of weeks ago and now it seems to be wilting. Can anyone advise on why this has happened and what I should do . Many thanks

To be honest i think its the wrong time of the year to plant them out maybe you should have left it in its pot until the spring.

Did you soak the pot before planting. ?. You could help by reducing the foliage, cut back as much as you can without spoiling the appearance, thus reduce strain on the damaged roots.
