I have, this morning, received three dahlia tubers from Farmer Gracy and have to say What great looking tubers they are and how beautifully packaged.
My question is would you plant them up in pots and keep them in the greenhouse until frost have stopped or would you keep them in their paper packaging and plant them out in May?
I can do either as I have a greenhouse.

I have potted up my new tubers and they are in the greenhouse. if you leave them the tubers will continue to dry out and they may be compromised.
Also you can take some cuttings late April/May from them if you start them off now.
