I have a pear tree five feet high. I want to move this tree to my new home garden in September. How to move it?

It's not so much the height that matters as how long its been planted where it is - if its more than 18 months, it will be difficult to move successfully in terms of keeping the rootball intact and long roots from being broken. If its only been in a short while, dig it out and transfer to an appropriately sized container, if longer you will need a tarpaulin or something to wrap the roots in, and will certainly need 2 people to lift and wrap the plant for transport.
