Yes, like many shrubs its fine for a season or two but will have to be moved up a pot size or two each or every other year. It needs a spot out of hot sun as it likes its roots cool so not hot patio!

If you are intending to place it on a patio, place the pot into a slightly bigger pot. This will allow cooling air to circulate between the pots keeping the inner pot cool.
