Wasps are a gardener's helper. They go after aphids, caterpillars and things we normally consider pests.

I too like the wasps Bathgate, but back to the shrub - it's a variegated Weigela I would think, which variety I don't know.

Seems more likely that the wasps have built a nest in or around it?
Or maybe there's an infestation that's making honeydew which is then attracting wasps?

The shrub is Weigela 'Florida Variegata' and the wasps are predating aphids I believe.

How do I say thanks?
