When and what should I feed pot grown Agapanthus's please? My giant one had six 4ft tall flower heads last year but it is in dire need of repotting (I have not room in the garden for it and it seems to thrive in a pot).

Hi, I would put it in a larger pot, if you can't plant it out, if you do that it shouldn't need feeding, contrary to popular belief, they don't need to have their roots congested, I have a deciduous 1 planted in my long border, which flowers every year without feeding, but if you think you would like to feed it, I would just remove a couple of inches from the top of the pot, and replace with fresh compost, Derek.

Thanks Derek. I'm going to need a considerably larger pot!
