Could someone tell me what this is that the bees seem to love so much ? And is it worth taking cuttings

Spreads like hell, any bit you pull up from the root will grow, so not really necessary to take cuttings.

Yes it can make a lovely hedge and quite quickly, however if used for hedging then you will need a good mattock to grub out the suckers, it’s a simple task if you keep it in check by doing it annually, but a harduous one if you let it spread, that said it will give much interest with those lovely largish snowberrys through the depths of winter.

It is poisonous though the white berries aren't enticing and, if anyone is tempted, the extreme bitterness will deter consumption.
