Linaria purpurea. Can be a bit of a seed thug.

Well it seeds around like a bit but I love it. Its the blue toadflax, a Linaria. But the test is not whether its a weed but whether you like it - a weed is only a plant growing in the wrong place.

These seed all around my garden. Add a bit of height here and there and pull out so easily if in the wrong place.

I love this weed & so do the Bee’s so I keep some & pull some up, I also have a pale pink one as well :o))

There seem to be a lot of linaria about this year

It's a bee magnet in my garden and I'm delighted that a neighbour kindly dug some up from her garden to give to me. Yes it self-seeds but not in a thuggish way and easily pulled up.
