Repotting camellias
I hope it’s ok to post a follow up to my recent question on this I’ve repotted one of them today into a 12 ins pot wirh ericaceous compost. I think there are some small buds on the end of some of the branches. Should I prune it a bit now it to get a better shape or will that stop it flowering? Many thanks for any further advice

Hi, no don't prune now, the flower buds are formed in late summer, and flower next spring, if you prune now you will lose the flowers, to encourage the plant to produce shoots lower down, cut the bare stems back to a growth bud after flowering, Derek.
