Tree I.d please. Saw this lovely little tree at Derwen garden centre at Guilsfield in Wales and would love to know what it is. Hope you're all keeping well and looking forward to the longer days and spring being around the corner! 😄

I think it is Cornus controversa. A beautiful tiered tree. It gets guite large eventually, and it has these lovely dark red branches in winter.

Thank you cottagekaren. Was frustrated today as wanted to plant new area but it rained all day so got on with housework instead!

I am pleased you have an id for it Amsterdam, its a lovely tree.
We had overcast skies til about noon yesterday and I managed a couple of hours in the garden but then it rained until about 8pm last night. The ground will be too wet today and we have blue skies today.
