Strawberries in pots - again!
The plug plants are now in little pots being hardened off. I’m not sure what sort of long term pot to put them in. I found two of these at the bottom of the garden -would they be ok ? I’m thinking 3 in each pot
Many thanks

I also think they will be fine. plenty of root room and space for them to grow.

Thank you everyone it is lovely to think of them with all the fruit on ( hopefully!) and should be more slug proof

As long as they have drain holes in the bottom--not all urns do!

Very good point. Thank you I’ll check and if not I’ll be out there with my knife (heated in the gas jet) to make some !

Ow! The Boy Scout in me is cringing! Don't do that with any knife that you care for! Better a large nail held in pliers, or any appropriate piece of scrap steel.

Look fine to me, strawberries do not have deep roots anyway, and I can imagine all those berries hanging over the side ripening
