Neither of the two plants shown were planted by us. We weren't sure if they were weeds so allowed them to grow and they have really nice flowers. Any idea what these are and how do they get here - no gardens anywhere near us.

first one looks like oxalis or a wood sorrel to me too but it doesn't quite match our native one.Which usually flowers march-ish There are many cultivated ones.
the other is a forget me not. But there are 7 native ones and many cultivated ones.

Interested in the shape of the wood sorrel flowers -so looked it up seems to be Oxalis griffithii

I've got a pretty dark pink Oxalis and an orange one with dark leaves but I love the white one you've got. I don't let them get too out of hand so I'm constantly pulling them up.

First one is Oxalis, which many consider to be a weed. However, I leave a small patch of it because, as you say, it's pretty. Not sure whether it's native. Mine are a deep pink colour.
