Sweet rocket (Hesperis) is now over and I’ve been cutting it back. Should I dig it out completely? Thanks.

And if you leave some seed heads they will also re-seed for next year.

Not sure what sweet rocket is, I grow rocket lettuce for my daughter which she loves on sandwiches - is it this ? And I always dig it up and take her the lot. Sounds as if I’ve ggot it wrong again ?

Hank, sorry to confuse you. My sweet rocket is Hesperis Matronalis ... a biennial (biannual?) with lilac or white flowers and a wonderful scent. A lovely tall garden plant. In my photos you can see it in the second pic 🙂.

no dont dig them out they may re-flower later in the year. Mine are 4 yrs old now and are getting to be substantial plants. So if you like them leave them in.
