Why do my rose buds dry up before they open?

Why don't my roses bloom? They grow nicely except the buds dry up before they bloom. What is wrong here and how do I fix it? Thanks.

Have you had lots of rain? often wet buds get sun scorched and end up dry/brittle and don't open.
no remedy really. Just remove them and the bush will produce new buds.
