I planted some nasturtium seeds ,usually the flowers are more abundant than the leaves, but this year,I only seem to have leaves,no sign of a flower..what have I done wrong🤔.
Any suggestions?
Thank you

I have these Solada, nasturtium 'Alaska' and mine are the same but once they start to trail the flowers should come.

Thank you both.yes ,Honeysuckle, they do look nice but....
Thorneyside, these were not supposed to be trailers, they are called, "Jewel Mixed" bought two packets, but wondering now if I purchased two different ones as the leaves on the other pot do not have white on them and much smaller..still no flowers though... well, just have to wait and see.
Take Care🙂

The ones with white splashed leaves are the variety 'Alaska'. In my experience, it is slower to bloom than 'Jewel'.

they are just too young yet and probably have too much nutrient in the compost. the ones that self sow in my garden soil are only about 8-10 leaves and wont get flowers for a few weeks yet.

Alaska doesn't trail, and the ones that have germinated look like Alaska - Jewel Mixed usually contains some Empress of India nasturtiums too; I'm not seeing any of those but its luck of the draw which ones grow with a mixed packet. I've grown these loads of times, and they don't flower much before end of June/early July in my experience, even in ordinary to poor soil in the ground.

Hi
Just to let you know, flowers are coming now but there are so many leaves ,big ones like saucers ,could I cut some off?It is a trailer must have picked up the wrong packet. Going to get a small trellis tomorrow for them.
The other packet is literally doing nothing, little leaves, and they have stopped growing
I have always done well with these ...wondering if it is all the rain we have had.
Take care everyone

I am sure that someone will have the answer, but I would possibly think that they have too much goodness in the soil, you tend to get lots of greenery and less flowers. Very pretty anyway, just your leaves.
