Physocarpus Diabolo - a friend has asked me to take care of hers while she moves house. There are one or two green shoots among the gorgeous bronze foliage. Should they be cut off to stop the shrub reverting? Thanks.

If the green leaves are immature, meaning they've only just opened, leave them alone - they often start out green and colour up as they get bigger. If you have a couple of shoots with nothing but green leaves which are mature, remove those.
