Houseplant revival. I was given these houseplants over a month ago in the hope to revive them. I repotted in multi purpose compost, watered it regularly with feed but nothing has happened! My question is are these houseplants grown just to flower once? Do I wait patiently? The plants pictured are African Violet and Streptocarpus.

Both like sharp drainage, and a relatively small pot. You might have to repot into slightly smaller containers, with a compost meant for African Violets, or possibly succulents.

they are perennial but flower off and on all year. diffuse bright light but not direct sun is good. I have some that are over 10 yrs old and I propagate them regularly from leaf cuttings.
