I was given a Dahlia Bishop of Canterbury tuber for my birthday in January. I planted it in it's pot in the Spring but it looked sickly and I found an enormous snail munching on the tuber so dispatched it. I think they are supposed to flower about now but there's no sign of it. I'm doing everything right but am I being too impatient?

I hadn't thought to but I could do, thanks.

it looks healthy enough and should have flowered really. perhaps the small tuber meant it didn't get a good enough start. Are you giving it any feed to boost flowering?
