How about this one, any ideas of it's name? The plant itself has long dark green sword like leaves on a tall stalk, and once the flowers die back and hit the ground a seed head/pod about the size of a golf ball developes and I can start a new plant from it.

Thank you Philjeffs, I grabbed my Western Garden book looked up what you suggested and you were right on, both fit the bill and now that I looked closely I have both of thse varities...where I got them I can't remember but have shared with a gal friend down my street and will let her know what we have.
