I have one year old strawberry plants in pots which were in a cold frame unfortunately high winds toppled the frame knocking the shelving and plants for six t the roots are still in tact and have compost on them should I just clean off the compost and repot or leave the existing compost on and pack new stuff round the plant?

i'd wash them as vine weevil love strawberries and it is an opportunity to check. Then repot in fresh compost.
