Answers
if they haven't started into growth then yes go for it. If you find there are some older shoots then make excellent cuttings at this time of year.
If they have started growing then yes still move them but you will need to make sure they get plenty of water.

Thanks Mossy and Eileen. I’ve taken plenty of cuttings as I’m giving a friend a whole plant. Sounds like I should dig it out now before it has any new growth, then tell my friend to keep it well watered.

I do this in october ,September but there no problem to divide them now .they have to be decided when the plant is dormant ..make a litle mound in the middle and keep it watered. Hope this can help
