Can I cut off the runners from my strawberry plants? Shame I took this photo just after I’d harvested my first crop of ripe, juicy & sweet strawberries. 🍓 Many thanks

They’ve got nowhere to go! Was wondering whether it would effect the growth of strawberries that’s why I was hesitant to cut them off.

leave them to get bigger and then cut them off and pot them up. new plants for another season.
