Gloxinia ... I bought two bulbs/corms (?) but only one flower opened. The others all turned brown wnile still in bud. What would cause this ?

They were in a conservatory Seaburngirl, maybe it was damp in there.

were they in a damp atmosphere as condensation can cause the buds to go brown.
