It is a gorgeous pink and is a corm form. You can split the corm but I have never tried it.

The species grows wild in Israel. It needs a very warm, dry dormant period to set it up for another round of bloom. Like Ranunculus, new plants are normally grown from seed, rather than division, which has a high mortality rate.
