Agapanthus hit by frosts

My established Agapanthus is in a pot but sheltered by the house wall. However, the extreme cold, followed by very wet weather has made the leaves wet and slimy. Will it recover?

Mine do that most years. If you can pop the pot into a shed or garage to let it dry out abit. Mine are just in the lee of the house and I tend to lay the pot on its side to keep the worst of of the rain off. Mine are over 10 yrs old now.
