My poor cherry tree has had such a bad season . The blossom was fine , but then the tip of every small branch was smothered in what I think were aphid . I removed lots of the tips and sprayed with garlic solution , but the damage was done . The few fruit that managed to ripen were tasteless . A tale of woe , I’m afraid .
Anyway , when is the best time to prune please ? I have a feeling that someone told me that it was after fruiting .
