Why hasn't my hibiscus flowered? I spent quite a bit on a large 'oiseau bleu' shrub last autumn and waited in anticipation for it to flower late this summer but nothing happened! It is on a sheltered south facing slope in sandy soil.

Maybe it was still settling down in its new place? Or maybe it was the dry weather that stressed it - I'm sure it'll oblige next year.
