I'm quite new to gardening and have only been seriously interested for the past couple of years after we moved to a house with a lovely big garden. I used to get dragged around garden centres with my parents when I was young and vowed to never enter one voluntarily when I had the choice! Now I love choosing and buying plants and planning my borders. My dad is extremely pleased that I now ask his advice about gardening. Life is strange like that! I love horses and have two of my own (you can see one in my avatar) so am blessed with a large amount of free garden fertilizer!
